Flexible System & User Setup

Flexible System & User Setup
Eclipse is designed to let you work the way you want to. Your input processes can be sped up by making simple refinements in the System Options that allow for a production specific setup.
Individual User Options let you apply specific default settings to make your life easier. It can be as simple as how you view or enter the data, and it adds up to extra hours in your pocket at the end of the week.
Through using your own personal tagging system setup with the budget at the beginning, the reports you generate are customised and flexible enough to meet the requirements of even the most fastidious production executives. At the end of the day, this makes your life easier when you can provide fast and accurate reports on time and as close to accurate in real-time as possible.

Powerful Security

Powerful Security
Eclipse’s solid security system lets you customise access to individual users or groups. You can set controls for different levels of access, printing capabilities, reporting, inputting data, and posting across all modules.
Because Eclipse fully understands the hierarchy within your organisation, you can create as many user groups as you see fit to ensure everyone can access what they need, and not other aspects of the program.

Unrivalled Excel Support
-
Unrivalled Excel Support
Unparalleled Excel connectivity. When Eclipse sends data to Excel it opens the spreadsheet, then formats and displays the data automatically. It’s quick and easy to do – open the browser, highlight the data you want to send, and click the Excel button. It works the other way round too, allowing forms to be copied in Excel then pasted into Eclipse.
-
Browse, Search & Query Data
-
Browse, Search & Query Data
All entry and inquiry screens display data in a browser window. Columns can be sorted in ascending or descending order, swapped, highlighted, hidden, or tagged. You can also easily locate data by clicking on the relevant column and typing the value in the search box to find all entries that match your criteria.Â
If you’re feeling extra techy, you can even use the Query Builder to filter data within the browser. The choice is yours.

If we had a dollar for every time a software platform wanted you to close what you were doing so you could set up a vendor or chart of account then go back to where you left off, we would have room and board on the ISS.Â
Fortunately, we had the power to change this. If a vendor or a chart of account doesn’t exist during data entry, simply create it on the spot. Simple!

Comprehensive VAT, GST & FBT Support
By using unlimited tax types to track your recoverable VAT or GST you can operate across numerous territories and currencies with ease.Â
During data entry a separate tax field triggers the inclusion of a distribution line, as well as calculating the predetermined tax rate. The Balance Tax Button ensures correct flagging of taxable and non-taxable items.

To set up a printer on Eclipse, first make sure the printer is connected to your machine. Once you have done this proceed through the following steps.
If you do not want to print to a physical printer, you can set Eclipse to print straight to PDF or your local adobe application by following this guide: https://tphglobal.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TPHCS/pages/1706328525

- Select File > Printers
- In the window that appears, highlight your printer from the list and click the Set Default button to set it as the default printer. Eclipse should now use this printer when asked to print any documents or reports.

You should sign out of Go-Global to terminate your session and reset it for the following reasons:
- Eclipse has frozen.
- Your clipboard has dropped (you are unable to paste in Excel forms). This is a common issue with MAC OS devices.
- Your M:\ drive has dropped/disconnected and you cannot find your local drive to save reports, upload files, or generate EFT files.
- Eclipse is stuck with an error message.
You can terminate your Eclipse session manually by going to the Go-Global window behind Eclipse and clicking the File -> Sign Out option.
This will close down your Eclipse session on our server and allow you to log back in with an error-free session.Â
If the above does not work you can log onto a different server to start a new session as described: https://tphglobal.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TPHCS/pages/1695875081
This guide will allow us to restore a snapshot of your database that is separate from your live database, allowing you to go in and run reports.
