As part of the Payment Times Reporting Scheme, Australian production companies are required to provide reports on how quickly they pay small suppliers. If you’re using Eclipse, the good news is: generating this report is quick and simple with the built-in Invoice Inquiry Report.
Here’s how to get it done in a few easy steps.

Step 1: Access the Invoice Inquiry Report
In Eclipse, navigate to:
Accounts Payable → Invoice Inquiry/Adjustment
Once you’re in the Invoice Inquiry window, click the Reports button on the right side of the screen to launch the reporting window.

Step 2: Configure the Report Settings
In the Invoice Inquiry Report window:
- Set the Report Type to: Input Control
- Make sure the Excel option is ticked
- Click OK to generate the report
This will export a spreadsheet with the relevant data you’ll need to complete your Payment Times Report.

Step 3: Know Which Columns Matter
In the exported Excel report, focus on these key columns:
- Column E – Invoice Date
- Column F – Invoice Received Date
- Column I – Cheque Date
- Column L – Due Date
These are the primary data points used in preparing your submission.

Step 4: Keep the Invoice Received Date Accurate
To ensure accuracy, the Invoice Received Date should be updated at the time of entry. You can do this via:
Invoice Entry → Other Details tab
💡 If you’re using OCR with DPF, this field should automatically populate based on the date the invoice was emailed in.
