Spotlight on Linh Luong: Driving Excellence in Finance at TPH Global

At TPH Global, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Linh Luong, our Senior Accountant in the Finance Team. Linh is a driving force behind our financial operations, ensuring that daily transactions, bank reconciliations, payroll tax reports, and company financial statements are completed with precision and care. She also provides vital advice to clients on payroll tax compliance, mentors junior staff, and collaborates with senior management to enhance workflow efficiency.

Reflecting on her role, Linh shares: “I serve as the main point of contact for our clients, ensuring their needs are met by staying updated on regulatory changes and client-specific requirements. My focus is on streamlining processes within the finance department and fostering collaboration with other teams.”

Linh’s passion for the film and TV industry is evident in her work. She finds it exciting and rewarding to collaborate with clients like Disney and Warner Bros, learning and growing through every project. She highlights the collaborative spirit at TPH Global: “The unwavering support from my manager and colleagues creates a close-knit, flexible work environment, making every challenge more manageable and rewarding.”

One of her standout achievements was managing the year-end process for over 160 productions. This involved meticulous preparation of payroll tax reports and Single Touch Payroll submissions. Linh recalls: “To accomplish this, I developed a streamlined process, trained my team members, and worked diligently to meet tight timelines. Thanks to our collective perseverance, we successfully completed the project on time, earning positive feedback from our clients.”

Spotlight on Better Man: A Musical Journey with TPH

Mark your calendars! Better Man, the highly anticipated musical drama about the life of British pop icon Robbie Williams, hits Australian cinemas on December 26th. Directed by Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman), this film offers a unique and candid look into Robbie’s rise to fame, his struggles, and his resurgence—all narrated from his perspective.

We’re proud to have supported the production of Better Man through our Eclipse and DPF software, as well as our tailored payroll solutions, ensuring seamless production management for this ambitious project.

With a CG chimp portraying Robbie and a soundtrack infused with musical extravagance, Better Man promises to be a cinematic event that celebrates resilience, creativity, and showmanship.

Bringing Joy to the Screen with TPH Global

We’re honoured to have supported Joy, a powerful film that brings to life the story of the groundbreaking team behind the world’s first IVF baby in 1978. With Jack Thorne (His Dark Materials) penning the script and Ben Taylor (Sex Education) directing, the film stars Bill Nighy, James Norton, and Thomasin McKenzie in a heartfelt exploration of resilience and innovation.

McKenzie, who plays Jean Purdy, reflected on the story’s enduring relevance: “We need to keep telling stories like this to highlight the importance of giving women control over their bodies.”

TPH Global’s payroll and software solutions played a key role in the production, helping bring this impactful story to the big screen. Now streaming, Joy offers a profound look at a pivotal moment in medical history—don’t miss it!
